New Exhibition - Fall 2021

After 31 years of exhibiting Fine Art Photography, Robin Rice shares new discoveries. Her latest exhibition showcases work from new artists she met in the Hudson Valley and Eastern Long Island during the pandemic. Selected works including sculptures, paintings, and weavings will be on exhibit with Rice’s stable of Fine Art Photographers. She pairs the different art forms seamlessly in her collection for the Salon style experience she is well known for.

“I curate and exhibit only what I love,” says Rice, “it's a purely organic process. The art I live with finds me; that is my aesthetic. If I can see all of these works of art in my own collection at home, I hope my clients will too.” Rice incorporates scents, sounds, textiles, and home furnishings into her gallery to create a more immersive experience. She first began this approach in a collaboration entitled, “Is That You That You See?” Rare salvaged wood furnishing by Tucker Robbins and Tina West’s still life photography. Much to her delight, Rice met clients who walked in and said, “I really want to live here!”

Among the latest additions are oil on stretched linen by Beacon artist Matt Kinney and hand-carved wood sculpture by East Hampton sculptor Jonathan Shlafer. Established gallery artists will also share their work in. Those on exhibit include oil on canvas by Florentine painter Giacomo Puissi, and weavings by Jose Picayo. An acclaimed artist with more than 8 exhibitions of Fine Art Photography at the gallery, Picayo shares these woven textiles for the first time. The exhibition will also include works by Dinesh Boaz, Todd Burris, John Dolan, Mindaugas Gabrenas, Isabella Ginanneschi, Victoria Goldman, Ron Hamad, Erica Hauser, Patricia Heal, Pete Kelly, Patricia McDonough, Micheal McLaughlin, Steve Miller, Luciana Pampalone, Bill Phelps, Leonardo Pucci, Robin Rice, Nenad Samuilo Amodaj, Mark and Kristen Sink, and Robert Stivers.
